Happy New Year

Yesterday it has been a year since I started this blog, a year of many changes, some good, some bad, but in any case I'm happy to have shared it with all of you, and I hope this new year that is about to start will bring all sort of happiness... we know it won't be prosperous, but hey, there are other things in life!

Ayer hizo un año desde que empecé con este blog, un año de muchos cambios, algunos buenos, algunos malos, pero en todo caso me alegro de haberlo compartido con vosotros, y espero que este nuevo año que empieza traiga todo tipo de alegrías... ya sabemos que próspero no va a ser, pero oye, ¡hay otras cosas en la vida!

Ok, ok, I'm not going anywhere, I just need some time and energy and I'll back as soon as I recover from this "Dried-up Brain Syndrome" (Lucio, please don't be mad at me). This week I've been doing overtime and I had to go to work the whole week-end... as they say, an image is worth a thousand words.

Vale, vale, no me voy a ninguna parte, solo necesito un poco de tiempo y energía y vuelvo en cuanto me recupere de este "Síndrome del Cerebro Reseco" (Lucio, por favor no te enfades conmigo). Esta semana he echado horas y he tenido que ir a trabajar todo el fin de semana... como dicen, una imagen vale más que mil palabras.

First of all sorry for leaving the previous post up for so long... it must have been like the torture scene in Fassbinder's "Lili Marleen" (if you've seen the film I think you'll know what I mean)...

So anyways, I've been thinking of giving this a little rest. First off all -as I said in a recent post- I don't feel like I have much to say, and then I don't have the time and the energy to keep it up (too much work and too much whatever is going on with my life), and I want it to be fun, not a duty. I'm not closing it down, just taking some time, I hope you understand.

Of course you know how grateful I am to all of you for visiting and supporting me, it means a lot to me, and the best thing of having this blog has been to get to know you.

I've been considering Mr. Q's suggestion of posting a picture of myself in underwear, but it wouldn't be of much interest, so I've chosen a work of artist Maurizio Nannucci instead. And the music is Astrud Gilberto, "Aruanda"... now that sound like a nice place to get lost, Aruanda...

En primer lugar perdonadme por dejarel post anterior tanto tiempo... tiene que haber sido como la escena de la tortura en "Lili Marleen" de Fassbinder (si habéis visto la peli sabréis lo que quiero decir)...

Bueno, pues he pensado en darle a esto un pequeño descanso. En primer lugar -como dije en un post reciente- no siento que tenga gran cosa que decir, y luego no tengo ni el tiempo ni la energía para mantenerlo (demasiado trabajo y demasiado lo que sea que esté pasando con mi vida), y quiero que sea divertido, no una obligación. No lo estoy cerrando, sólo tomándome un tiempo, espero que lo entendáis.

Por supuesto sabéis lo agradecido que os estoy a todos por visitarme y apoyarme, significa mucho para mí, y lo mejor de este blog ha sido conoceros.

He estado considerando la sugerencia del Sr. Q de poner una foto mía en ropa interior, pero no tendría mucho interés, así que he elegido una obra del artista Maurizio Nannucci. Y la música es de Astrud Gilberto, "Aruanda"... eso sueno como un buen lugar para perderse, Aruanda...
